Fire Pits

Whether it be a wood burning fire pit or a propane fire pit, there is nothing like the feeling of an "old fashioned" campfire which is what you get from these.  What a way to clean up the yard after winter and throw the fallen sticks into a wood burning fire pit and chill after a day's work.  Roast hot dogs and feast! With a gas fire pit, there is no worry about collecting or buying wood and it's a very easy start up with a button or a match, but gas can be a bit more costly. A warm gathering place outside in your yard is a great place to escape the daily stresses and enjoy nature and each other's company.

Table Top Patio Heaters

Table top patio heaters are a great alternative to the larger versions of patio heaters and fit nicely into smaller gardens or patios.  They are portable and go easily with you on camping trips or to tailgating parties before the game!  These heaters are light and can be placed in storage when not in use for protection from the elements. Keep an extra canister of propane with you so you are sure to stay toasty warm during your event.

Hanging Patio Heaters

A halogen hanging patio heater runs on regular household electric current and can be used indoors or outdoors as long as you have ready access to an electric outlet.  Hanging heaters will add warmth, light, and ambiance to any table setting. Imagine enjoying the company of friends, enjoying beverages, playing cards outside around a table under the stars on a chilly evening!

Floor Patio Heaters

floor heaterI have been to an outdoor party on a cool night.  The overhead patio heaters did a good job at taking the chill off and allowed us to socialize later into the evening comfortably and without reaching for our coats. The glow of the heater added to the ambiance also.  As the group got smaller, we moved to another area and just pulled the heater along with us.  The wheels on the structure made this effortless.  Party on! Stand up electric heaters are great for patios that do not have access to natural gas connections or for those who don't want to move propane tanks around.  Perhaps there is an outlet very close to the site you need the heat, these would be perfect and do the job beautifully.

Patio Heater Cover

patio coverUnless your outdoor heater or portable fire pit is under a shelter, I would recommend buying some sort of patio heater cover to protect your investment from the elements when it's not in use.  If taken care of properly, you will be able to enjoy it in many future seasons.

hanging patioI have a hanging patio heater on my enclosed back porch as a heat source for my outdoor cats on these cold winter nights.  I plugged in into a thermostat and it does a perfect job.  The cats are safe and happy!

Fire Pit

firepitMy kids love being outside and they always have a bunch of friends over and rather than have them in the house in this colder weather, I cranked up the outdoor fire pit.  It was snowing. So pretty!  They got all the sleds out and spent hours going down the hill and laughing like crazy and warming up at the fire pit between runs.  They roasted marshmallows.  Great memories!
